People who say tool sucks.. have no backgrond in poetry. Their lyrics are
suggestive and thoughtful, powerful yet resrained. They understand the flow
of sound with a blatant disregard to the orthodox way of wrighting music.
Like the hum of a fan blade, While the fan is moving every fast and could
hurt you if you touched it. It could also lull you to sleep. It is
origonality that has nothing to do with the flabby impressionism thats
dirived from the “creative music temperment”.
How could someone say tool sucks? Do they know about lateralus and what
went in to that song? It’s not easy revolving a whole song around the
fibonacci sequence.
I still don’t understand why the internet uses “troll” as an insult, but
Eduardo, He is no “troll,” he’s just expressing his opinion about the music
in a respectable manor… that’s what the comment section is for, friendly
criticism.
Mostly symphonic or black metal, some death some rock; Kamelot, Epica,
Delain, Emperor, Sargeist, Chaosfrost, Stratovarius, Morbid Angel, Deicide,
Disfiguring the Goddess (that’s really a project, more than a band), Th
Agonist, Iron Maiden, Sabbath, Halla, Mayhem, Darkthrone, Nachtmystium,
Hecate Enthroned, Dark Funeral, Steve Vai, Van Halen … ad nauseum…
I was at my friend’s house and he got caught smoking some pot that made him
sick. After the dispute with his parents his friend played this on the tv.
Then we discussed the imagery.
This my favorite Tool song and all my friends are mad about it but this is
so awesome.
