Nokia E71 is a sleek style business phone that comes with email, GPS, and all other business class features, including those of the Microsoft mobile. It happens to be the first 3G phone in Nokia E-series, and it is provided with plenty of advanced features in comparison to all its predecessors.
It is considered as an ideal phone in terms of its multimedia as well as business capabilities. The thickness of this device is about 0.4 inches with a sophisticated curved design. Hence, a user finds it comfortable to hold, operate and carry along effortlessly. The E71 weighs about 4.4 ounces. The battery lasts for approximately 4 hours and 50 minutes, which is at par with the other 3G handsets.
The size of keypad as well as the phone as a whole is reduced to a good extent, in comparison to E61 model. But, it is equally handy for those who’ve bigger plans. The common features like web browser, address book, calendar, e-mail, stand by screen, customized shortcut keys are also observed in Nokia E71 (as expected). This model supports almost all email accounts such as Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, Google and also more than thousand internet service providers
The screen of this handset is about 2.3 inches and it has a QVGA screen. The navigation system is also offered with the Nokia’s Mini Map feature.
This map can be zoomed to a good extent to view a full screen glance. The Nokia map 2.0 helps in car, pedestrian navigation system, satellite maps, voice guidance as well as multimedia city guides. Moreover, E71 also comes with music players with balance control and equalizer option, along with a 3.2 mega pixel camera. The Nokia E-71 truly offers a great value for money.
