Now one can keep a track of his/her friends’ by not just the cell phones, but also his/her shoes as well. Yes, you heard it right. Isaac and Daniel, who were the people behind the GPS sneakers in 2007, have now come up with their newest addition to their family of products – the Blue GPS.

This has the Bluetooth capability and those who wear this shoe can be tracked by their family and friends with the help of their cell phones and Facebook as well.
All that one needs to do is to add up to five numbers of family and friends and then push the button in the shoe to link to them. The button not just links to the added contacts but also to 911 in case of any kind of emergency.
Wondering how does this work? Well, whenever the button is pressed, a signal is sent to the ID Conex, the providers of GPS tracking technology in the shoe. If it happens that the monitoring station is not able to reach you, the cops will be called immediately. The Blue GPS shoes can be enabled with one’s cell phone and this is the best way for the parents to keep a track on their kids.
These shoes will be available by the fall, for both men and women in many different colors and styles, and are priced at $ 150. But for now, it will be available only in Latin America.
These shoes are also better known as the social networking shoes, as they make social networking a snap.
