Nokia Booklet 3G – Windows Netbook

Today’s hottest computer will drop from a cell phone manufacturer. Nokia launches namely its first netbook, or Booklet, which they call the new portable mini-machine.
Nokia 3G Booklet is two inches thick and is shipped with Windows 7, at least if you believe Nokia’s presentation video of the new computer (see below). The unit runs – just like its competitors – an Atom processor from Intel.
Nokia promises up to 12 hours of battery life, but then the question is whether you can use the built-in GPS, the wireless LAN and Bluetooth connection is especially frequent. Of course, Nokia has also built computer Turbo 3G connectivity and frequent access to Nokia’s Ovi services previously launched its mobile devices.
The shell is made of aluminum and computer weighs 1.25 kilograms. On the side, we find both the HDMI connection and SD card reader. Under the lid sits a built-in webcam just above the screen of 10 inches.
How much the unit cost, or when it goes on sale is not known. But the manufacturer releasing more details in this year’s Nokia World which takes place in Stuttgart on 2 September.

Acer officially launched its latest Veriton N260G nettop personal computer in the American markets.
The new nettop comes with a chassis without any screws provided in it, easing the maintenance and upgradation process.
The new Acer Veriton N260G nettop also supports mounting of VESA so that the device can be fixed anywhere in the office. This is one of the red hot attraction and one of the most popular trends, which is seen only in the latest devices.
The salient specifications of the new Acer Veriton N260 nettop include USB optical mouse, Intel Atom N280 (1.66GHz) processor, PS2 keyboard, Intel GN40 Express Chipset, Gigabit Ethernet, Windows Vista professional Operating System, PCI express mini 1.1 x 1 slot, 2GB RAM, HDMI port, 160 GB hard drive, 6-USB 2.0 ports, Intel graphics Media Accelerator 4500m and All-In-One Multimedia card reader.

As far as pricing is concerned, this nettop bears a reasonable price tag of $399. It is currently available only in the US markets.
Acer is planning to target the massive Asian market as soon as possible, especially the Chinese and Indian market, where even the level of sales of their recent smartphones have been quite high.
